In one day and 20 hours the Jimmy Choo website will start to sell Ugg Boots, Some might think its a match made in heaven, Ugg will see it as a massive brand / reputation boost that Jimmy Choo is starting to stock their products, after all being associated with Jimmy Choo is probably the height of a designers career.

There will be a launch party in Selfridges London to celebrate with the first 30 people to buy a pair of Jimmy Uggs getting a free Jimmy Choo scarf!

No word on the price of the Ugg boots but i will update you in the next couple of days with stock and prices

Are you heading off to a festival this summer? Fancy looking like the coolest kid on the block? Well, you need to invest in a pair of Jimmy Choo wellies.

If you think that wearing wellington boots is totally not cool, then think again because Jimmy Choo have a gorgeous pair of crocodile print wellies, complete with a gold buckle and leopard print lining.

Celebrities are quing up for them so that they stand out from the crowd then they are partying away at the festivals. Regular festival goer Fearne Cotton has been talking about what she plans on wearing:

“I have got some cute little vintage dresses to wear and some hoodies in case the weather is horrid. I have also been sent some incredible Jimmy Choo wellies which I will be wearing.”

If your not lucky enough to be sent a pair, you can purchase them for £250. Pretty expensive for something that is going to get so dirty!

Jimmy Choo introduces its new sunglasses collection.

They have 22 fantastic pairs on their website, prices ranging from £175 to £215. Quite reasonable for these fantastic designs.

I really like ‘JJ’ they are black framed with grey shaded lenses. I’m going to Las Vegas in 3 weeks so I will certainly be visiting Jimmy Choo to try a pair on, maybe purchase them if I get lucky on the tables.

Jimmy Choo Launches First Store in Sydney

30th April 2008 saw the opening of Jimmy Choos first Australian store. The was opened in Sydney with the launch party held at the Hemmesphere Bar on George St in Sydney.

Jimmy Choo releases Apple and Turin Metallic Suede Sandals

I am loving Jimmy Choos latest additions.

Apple are a Metallic suede sandal, they cost £595 and with the 4.5inch heel would really go with the dress i have just bought for my holiday to Las Vegas. If I get lucky on the tables maybe i could afford a pair.

Turin which are also suede and metallic cost £365 so a little bit cheap and with the gold straps they would also be a great addition to my wardrobe.

Lets hope my luck comes in while in Vegas.

Sex and the City tour visits Jimmy Choo

Remember my post from 2nd April “Sex and the City fans enjoy Jimmy Choo”?

On location offered the SATC fans a day in the live of our 4 favorite ladies, but it came at a huge cost…$24,000 to be exact. Now we don’t all have that kind of money floating around so how about trying the next best thing?

The same company on location are also offering a 3 hour bus tour showing you all the SATC hotspots, including the cupcake store where Miranda gets her sugar fixes. But the tour wouldn’t be complete with out a stop at the Jimmy Choo store with Carrie made so famous.

How much is all this i here you cry? well its just a snip at $40

Jimmy Choo gets some roman inspiration

Jimmy Choo adds a Roman inspiration to its spring/summer 2008 collection.

They have introduced some fantastic Roman style flats, including “ALASKA” a petrol patent sandal a bargain at £325 and “FLAME” available in red, costing a little bit more at £435. My favorites are “AMP” a Eel skinned sandal with a small wedge, they cost £425 and would be a fantastic addition to my summer wardrobe.

So there’s no excuse for forfeiting style for comfort this summer. Jimmy Choo has it covered.

Jimmy Choo introduces Monna/L

Jimmy Choo has introduces the Monna/L into its Spring/Summer 2008 collection.

The Monna/L is super stylish in a shinny leather and suede fabric, but also expands into a chic shopper bag. Its a bit pricey at £950 but definatly worth it.

Its like 2 bags for the price on 1!!!

Jimmy Choo and the Blues

Birmingham City’s Alex McLeish’s took a front row seat on 19th March to watch catwalk models show off this season’s designs by Stella McCartney, Jimmy Choo, Dolce and Gabbana and Alexander McQueen.

The evening was introduced by Suzanne Virdee, BBC Midlands Today presenter at the Harvey Nichols store in Birmingham’s mailbox.

Some Blues players were also amongst the spectators – Liam Ridgewell, Seb Larsson, James Morrison, Daniel de Ridder, and Albion’s Pele and Ishmael Miller.

Lets just hope that Alex hasn’t got any ideas about swapping the football boots for Jimmy Choo’s. Although it will be extremely stylish i don’t think they will win any trophies.
